WHERE WE'RE HONESTLY WEAKER

Two things we won't pretend about.

01

A supermarket multivitamin is cheaper.

A 30-day multivitamin from a supermarket costs £3–£8. Ours is £43. If the goal is hitting the vitamin C RDA and nothing else, the multivitamin wins on price. Our case is what the multivitamin doesn't do — clinical adaptogen doses, 24bn CFU probiotic, published batch tests — not a like-for-like unit cost.

02

The taste takes about a week.

Grassy up front, faintly sweet, a squeeze of lemon behind it. We didn't drown it in sweetener to hide the greens, which is honest and also inconvenient for days one through seven. Most people stop noticing by day eight. Some people don't — and if you're one of them, the 60-day guarantee is exactly what it says.

DOSE DEEP-DIVE

The three doses most brands get away with under-doing.

Anyone can list an ingredient. The interesting question is how much. Here's how ours sit against the category norm.

  1. 01

    Ashwagandha (KSM-66)

    Ours300mg

The dose used in the trials people actually cite for cortisol markers.

    Typical greens80–120mg

Sub-clinical. Adds a name to the label without earning its place.

    Supermarket multi0mg

Not an ingredient in a standard multi.

  2. 02

    Vitamin B12 (methyl form)

    Ours2.5µg methylcobalamin

Active form; 100% RDA without relying on gut conversion.

    Typical greens0.5–1µg cyano-

Cheaper form, poorer conversion in a subset of adults.

    Supermarket multi2.5µg cyano-

RDA met on paper. Form is the cheapest available.

  3. 03

    Probiotics

    Ours24bn CFU · three strains

Acidophilus, B. lactis, L. rhamnosus — at the doses used in bowel-transit trials.

Typical greens1–5bn CFU · single strain

Enough to list on the label. Rarely enough to matter.

    Supermarket multi0

PRICE-PER-SERVING · REALITY CHECK

The only comparable unit is the daily one.

Tub price is a distraction — pack sizes vary. Price per serving is the honest number.
